Ji Xun, Deputy Director of the Provincial Construction Bureau, accompanied the investigation. In the morning, Secretary Yu and his team conducted an on-site inspection of the Tianning Technology Promotion Center project undertaken by Jiangsu Wujin Construction Group. He highly praised Wujin Group's site management and green construction as exemplary and a model worthy of promotion throughout the province. At the afternoon symposium, Deputy Director Gong Haoping of our bureau reported on the development of the city's construction industry and the progress in promoting transformation and upgrading. Heads of three enterprises, Wujin Group, Longhai Construction, and Jiangsu Huanya, reported on their business development, and the Liyang City Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee made an exchange speech.
Secretary Yu fully affirmed the achievements our city has made in establishing the first construction market integrity assessment system, the "three-in-one" comprehensive evaluation method, and winning the "Luban Award" for three consecutive years. Secretary Yu pointed out that the construction industry is currently generally facing difficulties such as financing challenges, labor shortages, bidding difficulties, and low profits. Only by accelerating transformation and upgrading and adopting the path of construction industrialization can construction enterprises overcome difficulties. At present, under the dual pressures of government needs and market forces, construction enterprises must seize the opportunity and follow the industrialization path to adapt to new situations and continuously grow stronger and larger. Next, the provincial government and the Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will introduce supportive policies and formulate a comprehensive plan covering bidding, design, construction, and acceptance. Through pilot demonstration zones for construction industrialization, they will promote and accelerate the development of construction industrialization in our province, thereby gaining a competitive edge in the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.
