In recent days, under the scorching sun and continuous high temperatures, the leaders of the Municipal Urban and Rural Construction Bureau have been concerned about the frontline workers at construction sites working in the heat. On the morning of July 19, Leng Herong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the bureau, led heads of relevant units and departments to visit the construction sites of Qingyang North Road Viaduct, Tianning Technology Promotion Center, Dean Hospital, and Lanling Tunnel under the blazing sun, delivering cooling supplies such as mineral water, towels, soap, medicated oil, and sweatshirts to the hardworking builders.

At each construction site, Secretary Leng earnestly communicated with the workers, expressing heartfelt thanks and high respect for their hard work under high temperatures contributing to the city's key projects and Changzhou's urban development. He pointed out that the high temperatures may continue for some time, hoping the workers would reasonably arrange their rest, take heat prevention and cooling measures, pay attention to their health, earnestly fulfill the summer high-temperature safety production responsibilities, and ensure their health and safety.
