On the afternoon of August 23, the company organized a level-three safety education session for on-site construction workers at the Qianhong Pharmaceutical project. The workers gathered at the migrant workers' school on the construction site. Project manager Zhou Mingjun first explained the importance of safety and emphasized safety precautions on the construction site and strict adherence to safety operation procedures. He gave a detailed explanation on how to avoid safety accidents related to special equipment on the construction site. Then, the project department safety officer read out the document from the Changzhou Construction Bureau titled "Citywide Comprehensive Safety Rectification of Construction Projects Following the Elevator Fall Incident at Hengshanqiao, Wujin" and analyzed the incident. The construction personnel present deeply understood the importance of safety and engaged in discussions, making reasonable analyses of the on-site safety conditions. After the training, project staff distributed test papers to assess the workers' level-three safety knowledge.
The purpose of this training activity is to strengthen and standardize the project department's safety production work, especially to fully understand the safety of special equipment on the construction site. It aims to make the majority of practitioners recognize the importance of safety production, firmly establish the safety production policy of "safety first, prevention foremost, and comprehensive management" in their minds; and to conscientiously implement safety production operation procedures in action, resolutely eliminate the "three violations" phenomena in construction production, promptly identify and resolve unsafe factors in construction production, keep the safety alarm ringing, and ensure accident-free safe production of the project.
